The Flames immediately answered with a 9-3 spurt of its own, pulling within one with 4:11 left. Marc Brown scored UIC’s final seven points during that stretch.Anton Wilson’s 3-pointer with 3:25 remaining extended Detroit’s lead, which it would not relinquish, to 67-63.
