$Les cover\'s his 41st consecutive All Star Game Tues July 13 at Angels Stadium of Anaheim. National League won 3-1 for their first victory since 1996$ $It doesn\'t happen very often,but this is an All-Chicago Showdown in the 7th inning of the 81st All Star Game in Anaheim as the White Sox Matt Thornton is about to deliver a 3-2-two out pitch to the Cubs Marlon Byrd. The ensuing walk loaded the bases for Atlanta\'s Brian McCann(in the on deck circle)who reached Thornton for a bases clearing double. The NL won 3-1, McCann was named MVP.
