Ramblers win Las Vegas Classic, first Tourney win in four years.

LAS VEGAS—Milton Doyle scored the go-ahead basket to lead Loyola in a 48-45 comeback victory over Boise State on Tuesday to win the Las Vegas Classic and the Ramblers’ sixth straight game.Named the tournament MVP, Doyle scored a layup with 2:37 to play that put the Rambers up 46-45, then Donte Ingram added a layup. A 3-point try by Boise State’s Nick Duncan fell short with 2 seconds left.Christian Thomas scored 14 for the Ramblers (10-2), who trailed 27-22 at halftime.The Ramblers used a 13-6 run to take a 35-33 second-half lead on a layup by Thomas, then trailed by a basket with 4:14 to go. Loyola beat Texas Tech 62-44 to advance to the finals. It’s their first holiday tournament win since November, 2010.James Webb III led the Broncos (10-3) with nine points.Boise State beat Houston 75-73 to advance to the finals. The loss ends their six-game winning streak.
