Jack Houpt’s 3-pointer with 12:49 left was Western Illinois’ last field goal, and the Leathernecks didn’t score after Don McAvoy’s free throws made it 43-31 with 8:35 to play.Mario Hines led the Mastodons (9-13, 2-6) with 13 points and seven rebounds.
